Curated by Dr. Perrin Lathrop, the inaugural African Art Curator of the Princeton University Art Museum, I review the exhibition and apply my specialized knowledge of the artists included to develop a personal archive informing on curatorial and artistic practices that encounter material culture, identity, ritual, and historical context as the foundation for rich interpretation of audience impact in gallery spaces.
