Work With Me-
My research explores how Black women ceramicists use clay as a technology of memory, storytelling, and resistance. Grounded in Black feminist theory, I integrate archival methods, oral history, and material culture analysis to examine the gaps in how institutions document and interpret Black craft.
My work combines scholarly rigor with public-facing practice, including podcasting, digital curation, and accessible pedagogical models. Through interdisciplinary methods spanning African American Studies, craft studies, and public humanities, I aim to build a new, community-centered archive of Black women in ceramics while expanding the ways art history can be written, taught, and shared.

Sunday Dinner
Sunday Dinner is a supper club by invitation that was thought of as a space for community building and creating a village. This deliberate practice stimulates the found family and belonging elements that digital platforms can’t provide and may contribute to emotional distance in spaces needing some love. Fill your heart and your tummy with food made from scratch.

Blooming NeGrow
By name alone, you know that Blackness is front and center. This is a specialized project fulfilling my childhood dreams of being a florist.
By building a relationship with florists and floral industry spaces and experts, I will also include my studio ceramic practice into this presentation of my findings as a curatorial offering to Black Flora.
